This is one of my favourite tools for dealing with overwhelm!
Here’s how it goes:
Left Column – Write down alllll the things you can think of that you need to do…this is the scary brain dump part.
Middle Column – Pick ONLY the things from the left-hand column that HAVE to be done THIS week.
Right Column – Every day pick 3 things from the middle column that have to be done THAT DAY.
The way it works is if you were to achieve only 3 things when looking at the left-hand column you’ll feel overwhelmed and like you haven’t achieved anything. BUT if you achieve your 3 things for the day on the Right-hand column you get a great sense of achievement and less overwhelm…whoop!!
